Ronda Rousey Defeated by Amanda Nunes in UFC-207 (Full Video)

Returning former UFC champion Ronda Rousey arrived in great fanfare at UFC 207, but was put away in less than a minute by defending champion Amanda Nunes.

Amanda Nunes, The Lioness ended Ronda Rousey’s UFC career with 48-second annihilation last night. Former champ Rousey had received the lion’s share of promotion banner into the title fight at UFC 207 in Las Vegas, but it was Nunes who delivered the goods with a spectacular demolition of her rival.
Fighting for the first time in 13 months, Rousey suffered a punishing TKO defeat against bantamweight champion at T-Mobile Arena.
The crowd, which cheered loudly as Rousey entered the octagon, booed Nunes, who after the fight held her index finger to her lips as if to make her critics quiet.

48 seconds after the opening bell, Rousey’s night and perhaps her career had been ended by 27 strikes on the face. This was the worst case scenario for Rousey, whose record now stands at 12-2.

It was Rousey’s first fight since November 15, 2015, when Holly Holm knocked out Rousey with a head kick and handed the UFC superstar her first defeat.

Nunes had won the bantamweight championship on July 9 with a victory over Miesha Tate and Brazilian native became the first openly gay fighter to win a UFC championship.

Ronda Rousey broke her media silence on Saturday to thank her fans and ask for some time to think about the future.

The 48 seconds fight left the Ronda Rousey herself and her fans in the severe shock. It was wicked, shocking, and ugly defeat faced by Rousey and it’s very hard to imagine if Rousey will want anything more to do in her career after this.
